Running with Pump

Life's tough, get a helmet...

69 notes &

Obligatory pre-game 7 Pacers post.

I know this is a “fitness blog,” but I’ll be real honest with you.  I haven’t been doing anything fitness related lately.  It’s been kind of nice.  I do plan on going for a run this afternoon, but we’ll see.

The first picture above is what happens when I find sidewalk chalk.  The second picture is what I came home to Saturday night after the game.  Apparently, my neighbor was as excited as I was. In this city, that’s saying something.  Before we started winning most people only made jokes about the Pacers.

I wouldn’t normally post someone else’s kid on my blog, but this was sent to me and put on Facebook so I think it’s alright.  This is my former roommate’s son.  He finally grew into the outfit I bought him the day he was born.  Cutest. Kid. Ever.  I’m a little biased, though.

The next picture is one of my favorites.  My buddy and I have been going to Pacers games together since the 2006 season.  It’s been quite the journey.  No matter what happens tonight in Game 7, it’s been a hell of a season.

The last picture is how I’ve been choosing to cope with my nerves.  It’s also why I haven’t been running much.  Drunkard.

I know no one really cares about all of this, but it’s a big deal to me.  Silly? Yeah, sure.  Do I care?  Nope, not at all.

Go Pacers!!  Or as Chris says, “Go Pacey!!”
