Indy Monumental Training: Week 1, Day 3 - 6 Easy miles
My easy mile pace is between 8:00 and 9:00 according to the Hanson book. Today, I was aiming for 8:15 pace and I hit 8:14. I’m very, very happy with that.
The Hanson plan is based on time/pacing, so hopefully I’ll be able to continue to have a good feel for pacing. Of course, the Garmin definitely helps with that.
I’m sure there will be quite a few days in the future when my easy pace is much closer to 9:00 and probably slower. As of now, I’m looking forward to that. Anyway, six miles down and about 880ish to go.
